Occupational
health and safety policy
OHS policy is a basic
general approach from the employer how he will manage health and safety in the
workplace. In OHS policy objective & target related to OHS define and
signed by the top-level person in the organization as director or GM as organization
commitment.
OHS Planning
After the setting
target and objective in the policy, the organization made a plan to achieve the
objectives and targets set in the occupational health & Safety Planning.
This planning focused on how the organization will achieve the objective and
target define in OHS Policy.
Implementation
Implementation is a
very important phase. After the planning now the time is to implement planning
at work scope. The organization will make sure all required resources as per
planning available for implementation. All steps of the work scope as pr
planning stage so the organization can achieve there set objective and target.
Measurement of
performance
Measurement of
performance is key for the achieving of occupational health and safety objectives
and targets. The organization measures its performance against set objectives
and targets which define in OHS policy. For the measurement of performance,
organization management got a clear picture of where the is organization now
and what need is required to achieve to OHS objective and target. Which area of
the organization having areas for improvements.
From the measurement of performance management realign or restructure
their method of work or provide more resources to achieve.
Audit & Review
Audit of the
organization on set standards will done be approved 3rd party independent
auditors. The audit will be conducted on a set standard; the Auditor reviews
the organization's policy procedures and implementation evidence against ISO
standards. At the end of the audit, the auditor will write the audit report and
highlight the area of improvement. If any lacking or lagging auditor will issue
NCR (nonconformance report) or CAR (corrective action request). Auditor will
allocate the time for the organization to close the NCR, CAR. After the
closeout organization will submit the close-out evidence to the auditor.
